About Me

Welcome to Cruelty Free Belts let’s get to know each other! My name is Derek, and thanks for visiting my website. Cooking has always been one of my favorite hobbies, and I’ve now been vegan for three years and counting. Being vegan began as a health-conscious lifestyle choice. “Forks Over Knives” and “What the Health” were eye-opening documentaries that convinced me to create a change for my health, and follow a whole food plant based diet (WFPB).  Not only did I lose 90 pounds, but I’m also in the best shape of my life.

After a period of being vegan, I came to understand the suffering that animals go through only so that humans may exploit them for food (and consumption of animal products causes a number of health related issues to humans) and our fashion aspirations. It wasn’t until the first year and a half of my vegan lifestyle that I realized all of the genuine leather apparel I possessed and how I was contributing to the suffering of animals by wearing those products. As a result, I’ve vowed to only purchase product free from animals suffering in the future.

This is a good example for the well being of animals: a Cruelty Free Belt, which are difficult to find in stores since they are made of vegan leather, cork, recycled materials, and canvas.  I started this website to raise awareness about the plight of animals whose skins are used to make genuine leather belts (mainly cows). Compassionate consumers choose a cruelty free belt for good conscience and for the benefit of animals everywhere.  Please choose your purchases carefully and ensure that you purchase only products that are free of animal testing and animal experiments too (this includes cosmetics too).  Also support organizations like your local humane society, and join PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

Why create a site called Cruelty Free Belts?

cruelty free belts ladyIt’s hard to find cruelty free belts including products that do not include animal testing or animal experiments, as seen by my own experience. Being unable to locate a high-quality vegan leather belt, cork belt, canvas belt, or recycled material belt at a physical store required us to create this site. It’s so much easier to locate high quality product like a vegan belt when purchasing online.

How can you determine which belt is best for you when there are so many options?

You can rest easy knowing that Cruelty Free Belts was built to help you choose the appropriate type of belt product from the right manufacturer.  We also list the advantages and drawbacks that each belt has to offer, and lots of excellent blog content to read to help educate consumers about different kinds of belts.

To locate the proper belts, Cruelty Free Belts will aid you in making the correct choice, so you can be confident no matter what your motivation buying this product may be that, you have accurate information.

Our Method for Evaluating Belts

vegan leather beltsAll of the vegan leather, cork, recycled materials, and canvas belts you’ll see on our site have been put through a rigorous evaluation process based on a variety of critical criteria data. A careful examination of the belt’s quality and manufacture, as well as its dimensions and design, allows us to make informed decisions about how each belt may benefit the end user in unique ways. When making a final selection, this procedure ensures that you have a thorough grasp of what each belt offers.

When reviewing a product, we only take into consideration products without animal testing, and professional opinion as well as genuine customer feedback in order to give the most accurate information possible. According to the number of real-world experiences of Cruelty Free Belts users, it’s easy to tell the difference between a well-made ethical belt and one that’s not worth the time or attention of our discriminating audience. Belt shopping isn’t always a simple task, but the seasoned curators at Cruelty Free Belts use a unique and time-tested technique to help people weed out low-quality non-leather belts from the real deal, resulting in durable, long-lasting belts for men, women, and children.
